Background
On Holistic Management
The Savory Institute facilitates the realisation of a life of enduring returns for the land and all who depend on it. We develop innovative tools and enhanced curricula in Holistic Management, and inform policy, establish market incentives, increase public awareness, and coordinate relevant research, cultivating relationships with aligned partners.
Holistic Management Educators Australia deliver training in all Australian states and in New Zealand. Holistic Management is a decision-making framework that ensures our decisions are economically, environmentally and socially sound i.e. the triple bottom line. Our training includes the nationally accredited TAFE Holistic Management courses.
Holistic Management International has helped communities grow and thrive since 1984 by educating family farmers and ranchers and pastoralists in regenerative agricultural practices that empower them to strengthen their businesses, produce healthier food, improve local wildlife habitats and protect the environment.
Land to Market Australia is a group of landholders passionate about producing food and fibre in ways that are good for the environment and for our communities and clients, working upon Holistic Management principles.
On Regenerative Agriculture
Soils for Life is an Australian non-profit organisation, founded and chaired by Australia's former Governor General, Major General Michael Jeffery (Retd). We encourage the wide adoption of regenerative landscape management practices to restore landscape health.
Carbon Farmers of Australia has been helping farmers and others gain access to carbon markets since 2006, and are now expanding to cover industrial and commercial operations as we move forward with pioneering the burgeoning Australian carbon trade industry.
The Mulloon Institute is a research, education and advocacy organisation located 40 minutes drive east from central Canberra. It actively regenerates landscapes and both demonstrates and shares regenerative methods of land management.
Peter Andrews talks with Martin Royds about the implementation of Natural Sequence Farming methods at Baramul Stud in the Hunter Valley, NSW, Australia.
Farming Secrets supports farmers who are seeking how to take the steps to healthier farming. Over the many years of working with successful farmers, Farming Secrets has acquired information about a wide range of farming systems that work.
